This workshop helps students to learn to risk assess their partners – helping to avoid pairings/relationships that are toxic, helping to identify when partners or loved ones would benefit from professional input or outside support. It helps students learn to write a good psychological/emotional contract – and provide for good aftercare. The workshop covers edge play, working with safe words or without them, working with fear and learning to use intuition and intellect to make good choices in partners and scenes.
Presenter bio:
Basha is a clinical psychologist of 25 years experience who specializes in risk assessments, trauma therapy, personal development work for people who choose alternative lifestyles. She is a collared alpha slave in a polyamorous family, and has been actively involved in BDSM for more than 25 years. Basha has taught workshops in on relationships, BDSM, erotic role play and self-acceptance since 1995. She has taught workshops on trauma work and risk assessment since 1985. She divides her time between the US and the UK. DragonFire (basha and members of her polyamorous family) offer a variety of workshops and services to the BDSM, swing and kink communities.
